1st degree grading- 24rth September 2017
ITFHQ instructiors course- 18th November 2018
I started training in September 2013 i was 11 at the time and after my first class i knew it was what I wanted to do. I just knew i wouldnt give up till i got my blackbelt. I had my first competition two weeks after i joined and i loved it i was really nervous but enjoyed it and iv rarely missed a competition since. Achieving my blackbelt, doing well in competitions and teaching and passing on what was taught to me is the greatest thing iv done with my life and i hope to continue it for time to come. I started assisting at blue belt and it was mostly ninjas watching and learning most of the time then i started helping kids get there strips and slowly building it up to eventually taking warm ups and classes as a blackbelt.
The person i am now to who i was 7 years ago is completely different im not shy im not nervous. Martial arts has made me alot more confident, focused and self-disciplined, even in school and how well i done in school is all thanks to what Grand Master Sutherland taught me and im proud to be apart of the team that is continuing on her legacy.
