I Started Training on the 6th January 1976 at Elgin School of Tae Kwon-Do under Mr J.C.Scott, and was promoted to Black Belt on 3rd September 1978.

My Black Belt Promotions were 1st 2nd and 3rd Degree’s gained under FGM Rhee Ki Ha. I gained my senior Degree grades 4th, 5th, 6th Degree under General Choi and then my Master 7th Degree under GM Tran Trieu Quan. I was recently promoted to 8th Degree with ITF HQ Korea. I am also the Senior Korean Kickboxing Master Instructor in Scotland.

Until recently I worked very closely with Grand Master Sutherland in which we collectively decided on the running of ITF HQ Scotland in many areas ranging from grading’s, seminars, various courses to help ensure that the Tae Kwon-Do Legacy left by the Founder is maintained to very high standards.

I also Represented and competed for Scotland for 8 years as a Black belt competitor and won many National and international medals. I also Represented Scotland at numerous National and International Tournaments as an umpire, referee centre referee and jury president. Furthermore, I upgraded and re-designed Korean Kickboxing 14 years ago to include a grading syllabus from beginner to Master Instructor.
