I began training at Grand Master Sutherlands Martial Arts in 2009 and was promoted to ITF Taekwondo black belt by Grand Master Sutherland and Master Thompson in 2012. I also trained in Korean Kickboxing and was promoted to Korean Kickboxing back black in 2013 By Master Thompson.

Inspired by GM Sutherland I began assisting in GMSMA classes in 2010 and have been a club instructor in both Taekwon-do and Korean Kickboxing since promotion to black belt. I competed regularly throughout my Taekwondo journey and won medals in all disciplines. I now spend my time officiating and coaching our Competition Team both nationally and internationally.

I continue to train and attend as many seminars as I can, enjoying IICs under ITF Spain and ITFHQ. I recently completed the first ITFHQ Europe Umpires Course. I strive to gain knowledge, develop technique and skills which I can pass on to others from our Little Ninjas through to our adult students, supporting them to reach their potential and achieve their goals. All based on the wise words of GM Sutherland “put back into Taekwon-do, what you got out of it”. I have gained so much and want to keep giving back.
