I was persuaded to start training at Grand Master Sutherland’s Martial Arts in 2007 after regularly watching family members in their class. It was one of the best decisions of my life and started an amazing journey and I Can’t imagine a better place to have had this adventure under the fantastic guidance of both Grand Master Sutherland and Mr Kaczmarek. An adventure which has helped me meet hundreds of amazing people through instructing students, competing, umpiring at competitions (here and abroad) and attending many seminars and courses run by the best of the best.
A year after i started, just after I got my Yellow Belt I began assisting at GMSMA. There was a new club in Livingston opening and I began helping in the kids classes and then I got more involved in the adult classes to. I’ve been teaching for 12 years now and love helping students improve and reach their goals.
